Imagine an adventure where the day can begin with a safari or end with an afternoon journey into the wild nature of Africa. In Lake Mburo you will meet zebras and giraffes, in Queen Elizabeth National Park – elephants, lions and leopards, and in Murchison Falls National Park you will see Rothschild’s giraffes, leopards, lions, as well as hippos, crocodiles and elephants. In Ishasha you will search for the famous tree-climbing lions, and in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary you will track white rhinos on foot with rangers.

Uganda is a land of rivers and lakes – a boat safari in Mabamba Swamp will bring you face to face with the rare Shoebill stork (Balaeniceps rex), along the Kazinga Channel you will observe thousands of hippos, crocodiles and elephants, and on the River Nile you will cruise among hippos, crocodiles and elephants until you reach the base of the most powerful waterfall in Africa. In Jinja you will visit the source of the Nile and experience its beginning from Lake Victoria.

The program also includes the CTC Conservation Center, where you will learn about efforts to protect lions and cheetahs and come close to young lion cubs before they are returned to the wild. You will climb to the top of Murchison Falls, enjoy the three cascades of Sipi Falls and feel the adrenaline of Itanda Falls.

You will stand with one foot in the Northern Hemisphere and the other in the Southern Hemisphere, visiting not one but two equatorial points – at Kayabwe and Hima. You will immerse yourself in cultural richness – with Ndere Troupe in Kampala, you will witness traditional rituals and dances, visit the Alur tribe in Pakwach, and explore UNESCO sites such as Kasubi Tombs and the Namugongo Basilica.

After each full day, you will relax in selected lodges and eco-resorts – from Country Lake Resort by Lake Victoria to Whispers of the Nile on the Nile’s shore. Uganda will offer you a blend of wildlife, culture, adventure and authentic human encounters.

Further down this page, you will find a detailed description of all the parks, waterfalls, equatorial points, cultural sites and hotels that turn this program into an unforgettable journey.

Your experience is guided by a Bulgarian tour leader and certified local guides who will introduce you closely to the rhythm of Africa.
